3 Wheeled Buggies
A 3-wheel buggy is used for off-road walks and for tackling terrain such as uneven paths or tracks in woodlands. They can also be easier to maneuver around kerbs than models with four wheels.

Stability
With four wheels and a centre of gravity that is balanced by the weight of your child in the seat, buggies with four wheels are generally thought to be more stable than triwheelers. However, that doesn't mean a three-wheel buggy isn't worth considering, since some of these models are designed to cope with everything from rough terrain to busy high streets.
For a buggy that's really easy to maneuver and won't fall over on bumpy roads, look for one with large rear wheels and a lockable front wheel. However, some manufacturers have tackled this issue by implementing clever design that lets the wheels flip up when they are not in use, which reduces their overall size and allows you navigate through doorways with ease.
It's also important to consider whether the buggy you choose to use is suitable for your little one from birth or if you're thinking of using it in conjunction with an infant car seat or carry cot. If so, check for the ability to lie flat and if the design is compatible with second-seats and buggy boards (if you're planning to put an infant onboard). A majority of 3-wheelers can fold flat and be put up in a upright position. This is great for those with a small boot space or have limited storage at home. Some 3-wheelers require you to take off the front wheel to fold them into smaller sizes.
Manoeuvrability
Three-wheeled buggies are more maneuverable than strollers with four wheels. A lot of them feature a swivelling wheels on the front that allows you to steer and change direction using just one hand. Some models come with wheels that lock to provide stability on rougher terrain. Some models can even be used with a second seat or buggy board in case you're planning to grow your family.
If you are planning to remove your three-wheeled buggies from the paved roads, you should choose a model with pneumatic tyres. They can handle the most difficult terrain. They may have to be regularly pumped up from time the point, but they will be more durable and puncture-proof compared to solid tyres. Look for a model with an adjustable swivelling front wheel that locks to assist you in maneuvering difficult surfaces.
